Michael P. Gunn received his law degree from St. Louis University School of Law in 1968 and has the highest AVVO rating as well as Martindale-Hubbell rating of AV® Preeminent™. He is a past president of The Missouri Bar, the National Conference of Bar Foundations, the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis, and the Lawyers Association of St. Louis. In addition, Michael served for over 18 years as a delegate in the House of Delegates of the American Bar Association concluding his service as the state delegate for the state of Missouri. He has also served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of The Bar Plan Surety and Fidelity Company and as Chair of the Board of Directors of Peter & Paul Community Services, an ecumenical agency that provides housing and supportive services to persons who are homeless, especially those who experience mental illness or live with HIV.

Michael has concentrated his practice in the areas of estate planning, probate, and trust administration and litigation, and in general civil litigation. He has done extensive lecturing and writing in these areas. In addition, he has had an active practice in the areas of business planning, administration, and litigation.
