Attorney John Gunn

John represents individuals involved in disputes over probate and trust matters, he counsels clients in developing or amending their estate plans and represents clients in the administration of probate and trust estates. He has handled matters in probate, civil, equity and administrative courts in courts across the State of Missouri. John has also successfully argued matters before the Missouri Court of Appeals and has assisted in the successful litigation of matters before the Missouri Supreme Court.


John earned his J.D. from the St. Louis University School of Law in 2000 following his obtaining a B.A. from Villanova University in 1997. John is licensed to practice before the Supreme Court of Missouri, the Supreme Court of Illinois, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri.


John served as president of The Missouri Bar in 2020-2021 following over a decade as a member of the Board of Governors. John is also a member of the American Bar Association where he currently leads Missouri’s delegation to the House of Delegates, the policy-making entity within the ABA. John’s time in bar service is focused on civics education and improving the administration of programs seeking to assist lawyers experiencing mental health struggles and/or substance use disorders. 


John and his wife Jen live in St. Louis County with their children and pets. John loves to cook and consume entertainment of all sorts.
